Kay brings extensive leadership experience from the care sector, having served as Chief Operating Officer and later CEO at Signature Senior Lifestyle between 2018 and early 2025. Her work focused on raising care standards, championing workforce recognition, and advancing resident safety through innovative technology. She led Signature through major transitions, including the Covid-19 pandemic, acquisitions, divestments, and the launch of new care homes.
Before this, Kay was Managing Director for Southern & East England at Bupa UK, overseeing 52 care homes, 2,600 residents, and 5,000 staff, where she built a strong foundation in operational leadership and compassionate care delivery.
